Influence of dust and steam on ultrasonic level meter measurement result

Ultrasonic liquid level meter made in China is more and more widely used in various production processes of Jiuquan Steel due to its accurate measurement, small maintenance, reliable operation and high cost performance. It is recommended that users use the characteristics of the ultrasonic level gauge and the installation environment factors when using it. Measured media properties are recommended for use in conventional water level measurement and environmentally friendly solids measurement systems. In the presence of dust and steam, the measurement accuracy of the ultrasonic level transmitter will be affected. For example, in the case of a user using an ultrasonic level meter to measure the raw coal bunker and raw coal level, since some coal dust will be generated during the raw coal bunker feeding and discharging process, the ultrasonic level transmitter will appear in practical applications. The loss of wave causes the meter to display zero or the level display to be lower

coriolis mass flow meter price FAQ

I have visited the customer, and have another application also to measure Glucose flow.  The product is very Viscous when cold (4300-6000 cP @ 20 degC) hence needs to be heated to pump it. Hence the flowmeter will need to be heat traced to about 60 degC or the product will solidify in the tubes between batches. Questions: 1/ Can you offer a  heated  tube version of coriolis mass flow meter? 2/ Do any of the Mass flow meters (e.g “bent type”??) have straight measuring tube/s? 3/ Could Oval gear meter be used as an alternative (when heated to above 50 degC viscosity will be less than 1000 cP) ? 4/ What is the main difference for oval gear meter “SP” option “for food industry” Please explain- -Can this have Tri-clover flanges? -What is different inside? Flow rate is yet to be determined, however for now due to high viscosity would expect DN25mm pipe. Batch sizes would be approximately 48 kg each to be delivered in 1-2 minutes hence   approximate flowrate wou

Coriolis mass flow meters FAQ

I have more applications for the new style coriolis mass flow meters, another email will follow however for now I have some technical questions which are not explained in the manual: Questions, please explain in detail: 1/ What does “Percent of A” mean? 2/ What is “Medium 1 Density” and “Medium 2 Density” used for? 3/ What is “Density coefficient” used for? 4/ What is “pressure correction” and Temperature correction” used for? -I assume this is a user adjustable calibration trim? 5/ Confirm what happens if “Reset” and “Factory Reset”  are used? -Are these the same? -Are calibration constants lost, or just the settable units and span setting etc. lost? Secondly, some points for your technical dept. to fix: A/ “Density” is spelled incorrectly as “Desnity” in the “Medium 1 & Medium 2  Density“ menu B/ When selecting “Display Setting” note that “percent of A” when selected (highlighted) does not show on display, but does show on display when

Magnetic Flow meter Inquiry and quotation

Please quote our buy price and delivery for the following flow meters thanks. I will place the order today upon your confirmation. Coriolis mass flow meters for batch sucrose solution Applications

Questions Hello I have firstly an application to measure and batch sucrose solution. Pipe is ¾”, flow rate would be approximately 30-50 l/min maximum Sucrose is at 67 Brix, hence is concentrated. Temperature is ambient. Viscosity is to be confirmed but appears not very viscous, estimated to be around 50 cP. Density is around 1.32 kg/l 1/ Can we measure this with a Mag flow meter, I am unsure whether sucrose solution is conductive? If not conductive, I expect we will need to use Coriolis meter or oval gear meter? 2/ Please quote for 20mm small mass flow meter, 24Vdc powered, pulse and analogue output Triclover process connections, 20mm size (customer will reduce flow to suit the meter) Pressure is low, < 1barg Secondly, For another application I have quoted small mag flow meter for batching Fruit pulp at 85 degC. Product is very conductive, and has a consistency like tomato sauce (or ketchup) Viscosity is likely to be

Asphalt /bitumen flow measurement by Coriolis mass flow meter

图片
Asphalt flow measurement is always a technical problem because of the high viscosity and poor fluidity. The operation temperature of the pipeline liquid asphalt is usually around 200 ° C. Although the temperature is very high, the viscosity is still large, and the medium contains a small amount of solid particulate impurities. Conventional liquid flow meters are difficult to meet their bitumen flow measurement requirements. However, we used a Coriolis mass flow meter to measure the flow rate of liquid asphalt in a large aluminum plant, and achieved satisfactory results. The China made Coriolis mass flow meter drives a U-shaped tube (flow sensor) fixed inside the instrument case and is driven by an electromagnetic vibrator to vibrate. The following are the technical parameters for asphalt: Medium: liquid bitumen flow measurement Operating temperature: 180-220 ° C; 356-527 οF Operating pressure: 2-5 bar Asphalt density: 1230kg/m3; Asphalt flow rate: 0-0.05 tonne/min

Advantage of radar level meter

The radar level meters which are supplied by Silver Automation Instruments are suitable for non-contact continuous measurement of liquid, slurry, powder, solids, mud level measurement. Even when the working temperature and pressure changes a lot, radar level instruments can still have accurate level measurement. Radar sensor can even be used when environment has inert gases and volatile gases. The Radar level sensor adopts the measurement method of microwave pulse and can work normally within the range of industrial frequency band. The beam is low in energy and can be installed in a variety of metal, non-metal tanks or pipes, which is harmless to the human body and the environment. The radar level transmitter works by transmitting and receiving extremely short microwave pulses with very low energy through an antenna system. Radar waves travel at the speed of light. The running time can be converted into the object position signal by electronic components. A special time extension
